I started something this week that is quite daring and very exciting. I signed up for eharmony.com! It’s a little weird to me to start online dating never really tried it before. I talked it over with some friends and family. My best friend isn’t a fan of it, and thinks that when it boils down to it you are paying for a date. I can see where she can get that idea as eharmony does cost a pretty penny to create a profile and find matches on their site. But I don’t see it as paying for a date. I see at as opening the door for at least more options or serious options since they are PAYING to be on this site. Or maybe just get to go on a few good dates or find a good phone buddy, who knows. I find it highly unlikely that i’m going to find anyone regularly as most of my outings are only to dr. offices, the grocery store and to families homes. So not much single men coming through those parts. My brother suggested I go on blackplanet.com uhh yea no that was SO 2000 ill pass!
One could also think why are you trying to jump into a relationship so fast since you JUST called things off with old boy. Well old boy and I were never in a relationship to begin with nor was new boy (simone’s dad) and I ever in a relationship so i’ve basically been single and looking for about a good 4 years! I think it’s PAST TIME! I’ve hit the lonely mark and i’ve passed it twice it’s TIME!
I feel like a kid in the candy store to be honest haha. I set up my profile on Sunday and I guess everyday they send you new matches. I had to answer a million questions regarding personality etc which is good so I can make sure the person they are matching me with is someone compatible. I think it’s the eharmony commercials that kinda got me, those people look SO happy and in love. Hey maybe i’ll be on a commerical soon stay tuned..
